It is looking extra colorful around the atrium at Farmington High School! 3D Studio Art students designed looms and learned various weaving techniques to create weaved installations that are displayed around the building. Great work! #ESED #cardstudentsareworthit

Today is National School Nurses Day, and we don't know what we would do without our very own Nurse Andrea Rollins! Her passion and care help make this school run smoothly and safely. We are incredibly grateful she is here to take care of students and staff alike! Thank you Nurse Rollins!

The excitement of Teacher Appreciation Week continued today at FHS with delicious breakfast pastries provided by Rick's Bakery! For lunch, parents and PTSA set out the most amazing taco bar with all the fixings! We are incredibly thankful to the community members who have done so much to honor our teachers this week!

Today kicks off Teacher Appreciation Week, and we certainly are feeling the love! A big thank you to Arvest Bank for providing Casey's breakfast pizza this morning. The celebration continued through lunch with BBQ, banana splits, and tasty snacks provided by PTSA, several FHS parents, Briar Rose, and Administration!

Lions, tigers, bears - oh my! Mrs. Bolin's Life Skills class just finished up their book study on "The Wizard of Oz" and to celebrate, they traveled down the yellow brick rode straight to Oz to have a party! Many life skills were learned through reading the book and planning the party. It was a fun time had by all! #ESED #cardstudentsareworthit

FHS Seniors & Parents: Please ensure you are regularly checking the high school website for the most up to date information in regards to Senior activities and graduation requirements. All of this can be found at bit.ly/FHS23grad.

Farmington High School's Agricultural Classes had the awesome opportunity to donate their time and make two Free libraries to put in Creekside Park in Farmington. You may "Take a Book, Share a Book" at both parking lots. You may also locate their exact location on littlefreelibray.org. This project was an honor to be a part of. We not only were able to give back but hopefully help improve the reading ability of current and future students for years to come.

Congratulations to Broadcasting teacher Brian Dean for receiving a $10,000 Cash for Classrooms grant from Casey's! We are incredibly grateful to Casey's for continually supporting education, and we are excited about the opportunities this grant will open up to students!

Last night the Farmington Choir hosted their Spring Concert. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear from both the FHS Choir and the Crimson Select Ensemble! Choir Seniors were also honored for their commitment to the program throughout the years. Congratulations to Mrs. Jackson and the Choir program for a very successful year! #ESED #cardstudentsareworthit
