Junior Cade Cox was named a Borlaug Scholar and finalist for the World Food Prize Global Youth Institute. Cox’s paper focused on agricultural governance and policy in South Sudan post-civil war. His paper presented options for the legislature to boost the country’s economy and boost quality of life for those dependent on agriculture as a way of life. Cox will attend the Global Youth Institute in Des Moines, Iowa, this fall. #ESED #cardstudentsareworthit

Farmington FFA members were able to participate in the State Day of Service at State Convention this past week. Thursday evening, the Farmington Bands hosted their first Spring Concert since 2019! It was a wonderful opportunity for 7th-12th grade students to showcase their musical talents. There was also a special presentation in memory of Marcus Dorman, a founding member of the Farmington Band program.
